PERFECT TRANSFER FROM EVISCERATION TO CHILLING
The re-hanger transfers birds automatically from one processing line to the next,
giving an in-line process for optimal tracking and tracing with no manual handling
of the product required.
Birds are transferred to an intermediate transport system, which conveys them to
the other processing line.
By putting a weighing unit in the intermediate transport system, it is possible to weigh
individual birds. Weight information on each bird can then be passed to a PDS-NT control
system for use in making choices on what is to happen to the bird in subsequent downstream processes.
